Înainte de actualizare: verifică pe eticheta aparatului modelul exact și versiunea hardware și folosește firmware-ul din regiunea aparatului (de exemplu Global sau Europa). Un firmware greșit poate bloca aparatul. Nu întrerupe alimentarea în timpul actualizării.

Înregistratorul VIGI NVR2008H-8MP de la TP-Link VIGI are 8 canale, lățime de bandă la intrare de 160 Mbps și 2 locașuri pentru HDD (până la 16 TB fiecare).

Modelul are mai multe variante hardware (VIGI NVR2008H-8MP (V1), VIGI NVR2008H-8MP (V2)) cu firmware diferit: alege varianta trecută pe eticheta aparatului.

Firmware-ul se încarcă din interfața web a aparatului, din VIGI Security Manager sau din aplicația VIGI.
